TARA

The Technical Alignment Research Accelerator (TARA) is a 14-week part-time program that builds technical AI safety skills for talent across the Asia-Pacific region.
Participants work through the ARENA curriculum via full-day Saturday sessions plus 2-7 hours of independent learning during the week.
You'll learn and implement key concepts like transformer architectures, mechanistic interpretability, reinforcement learning, and model evaluation techniques. Working in groups of 10-20 participants, you'll practice pair programming - where two people collaborate on code together, taking turns to write and review - all under the guidance of an experienced teaching assistant and expert support.

Navigate the most critical technological shift of our time. Based on the acclaimed BlueDot Impact curriculum, this 5-week introductory course provides a structured foundation in AGI strategy. Designed for beginners, you’ll read and discuss the technical landscape, governance challenges, and strategic frameworks necessary to understand the safe development of Artificial General Intelligence.
Join a cohort of motivated learners to cut through the hype and build a clear, actionable understanding of the risks and opportunities ahead. The key difference from BlueDot? We run this course fully in person, so you will meet like-minded individuals in Hong Kong who share your curiosity and motivation about AI safety.
AI Safety Hackathon

Ready for a hands on dive into AI safety? In this 3 hour hackathon, you will build your own AI agent and then switch sides to red team it, probing for weaknesses, biases, and unexpected behaviors. Your final deliverable is a responsible AI report documenting vulnerabilities, mitigations, and ethical safeguards. Perfect code is not required, just curiosity and a hacker mindset. Walk away with battle tested skills in secure and accountable AI development. Teams of 2 to 4. Laptops charged. Let’s build, break, and fix AI responsibly.
